About Me

We are a family living in the Milwaukee burbs. Peter is our first child, born Summer 2009. We are excited and blessed to be his parents.
I use this blog primarily as a journal of my thoughts. It's also handy to keep in touch with family and friends who have moved away. I am a crafter by heart, love to read a good book, and enjoy the ever tiring job of Motherhood, and Wife Life.

Tuesday

Elder Holland

This is a man whom I admire dearly.  I don't know much about him, but I seem to relate to his talks in a way, I never knew.  I just read his talk from General Conference, ( A message from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). and have to take a minute to say how true this is.  It is my personal testimony that what he preaches is true.  It is not how you get there, but that you do get there...in the end.  That it is NEVER to late to choose the right.  "This is a story about God’s goodness, His patience and forgiveness, and the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a story about generosity and compassion. It is a story about grace. It underscores the thought I heard many years ago that surely the thing God enjoys most about being God is the thrill of being merciful, especially to those who don’t expect it and often feel they don’t deserve it."   http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2012/04/the-laborers-in-the-vineyard?lang=eng
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
